MODERN DADS:

WIPE OUT

Rick attempts to make money by creating an online parenting video. Sean helps give it a little something extra. Stone takes Danica to Mommy and Me swim lessons and agrees to auction himself for charity after the Mommies insist.

These Austin, Texas, guys are unapologetically loud and riotously funny. They're like a fraternity, but this time "all-nighters, babes in your bed and empty bottles" carry a whole new meaning. Now they’re on 24/7 Dad-duty. Their dreams were once fast women and fast cars, but now they only fantasize about using the bathroom without an audience. Their wives may bring home the bacon, but these dads have no trouble fryin’ it up in the pan.

MODERN DADS features four stay-at-home dads who may be a little unconventional, but they get the job done. Banning together, their “guys club” is a brotherhood of suburban, child-rearing dudes who are just trying to do their thing – with a kid (or four) on their hip.  A good day at the office for them is just keeping their kids, and their manhood, alive. This new series continues to follow their exploits as they navigate manhood; juggling the requirements and social expectations of being both a modern man and a “modern dad.”

Series Premiere!

THE GOVERNOR'S WIFE

A&E Network presents the new real life series, THE GOVERNOR'S WIFE, that follows former Louisiana Governor Edwin Edwards and his 34-year-old wife, Trina, as they redefine a “new normal” in the new South.

Edwin Edwards, now 85 years old and still dubbed the “King of Louisiana,” shocked the state (and his family) when he married Trina Grimes Scott, a woman 50 years his junior. They became pen pals while Edwin was serving an 8 1/2-year prison sentence for bribery and extortion, charges stemming from his tenure as Governor of Louisiana, and married when he was released. This colorful couple heads a newly combined family comprised of Edwin’s daughters, Anna, a 62-year-old, four-time divorcée and Victoria, the seen-it-all former performer who is never far from her electronic cigarette, along with Trina’s sons from a previous marriage, Logan, 15 and Trevor, 13.

The series follows Trina as she attempts to fit into the former governor’s upscale world and busy social life while trying to get along with daughters twice her age and corral her teenage sons. Between school projects, running for president of the Homeowner’s Association, fending off skeptics who think she’s a gold digger, and thoughts of adding a baby of their own to the mix, the Edwards clan’ truly represent a new take on the modern family.
