April 2018 Premiere Highlights

“MARY KILLS PEOPLE”

Picking up eight months after Mary (Caroline Dhavernas) and Des (Richard Short) framed Grady (Greg Bryk) for the deaths of their patients, Des is happy to reteam with Mary following his stint in prison, but Mary questions whether she was better off fighting the good fight without him.  As they dive deeper and darker into their illegal work, a mysterious woman, Olivia Bloom (Rachelle Lefevre), comes to them with a deadly request, unleashing a chain of events that unfolds throughout the season. Mary’s personal and professional lives come to a head when Ben (Jay Ryan) returns, knee-deep in a complicated undercover case. Ben’s investigation will collide with Mary’s criminal descent, forcing Mary to decide whether to come clean once and for all.

What ensues once again is an eye-opening look at what happens in the outrageous world of unscripted television, where being a contestant can be vicious and being a producer is a whole other reality.

“MARRIED AT FIRST SIGHT”

Lifetime’s break-out docuseries MARRIED AT FIRST SIGHT, where six brave singles marry a complete stranger in a daring social experiment, returns for its sixth season.  This time, Boston area singles become duos, meeting for the first time at the altar.

In season six of MARRIED AT FIRST SIGHT, Boston area singles yearning for a life-long partnership agree to a provocative proposal: getting legally married to a stranger the moment they first meet. The couples will not meet until they walk down the aisle and see each other face-to-face, for the first time, at the altar. The series captures each couple’s journey as they go from wedding, to honeymoon, to early nesting, to the daily struggles of working on their marriage.   After several weeks together, each couple must make a decision: do they remain together or decide to divorce?

This season, Boston-based psychologist and Professor Dr. Jessica Griffin, joins sociologist Dr. Pepper Schwartz and marriage counselor, Pastor Calvin Roberson on the series’ panel of experts. Together they will create what they believe are three compatible couples based on scientific matchmaking and continue to counsel and mentor the couples throughout the season.

“LITTLE WOMEN: LA”

Over the past six seasons of LITTLE WOMEN: LA, these ladies have seen success and failure with their relationships, families and careers. This new season is all about female empowerment for Terra, Tonya, Christy, Elena and Jasmine. From fierce competitions and emotionally challenging events, life is too short to waste time or energy where it’s not needed. Get your brushes and contour kits in hand for Lifetime’s new beauty competition series, GLAM MASTERS, hosted by Emmy® Award nominee Laverne Cox. The eight-episode series puts beauty influencers through themed challenges allowing them to put their best face forward to impress Cox, celebrity makeup artist Mario Dedivanovic, YouTube makeup expert Kandee Johnson and co-founder of Milk Makeup and Marie Claire Senior Fashion Editor Zanna Roberts Rassi.  Executive produced by style icon Kim Kardashian West, GLAM MASTERS is created by Diana Madison. 

Each closed-ended episode will feature four beauty bloggers who will go head-to-head to prove they have the talent, charisma and vision it takes to be the next big name in the beauty world. The winner each week will qualify to advance to the semi-finals where the best will battle it out in the Tournament of Masters finale. In the end, only one of these beauty-obsessed bloggers will get to claim the title of GLAM MASTER.

THE GLAMOROUS LIFE (#106)

The semi-finalists must create makeup looks that push them out of their comfort zones, trick the judges and are worthy of gracing the pages of a magazine.

  • The stakes could not be higher as the best of the best beauty influencers and makeup artist go head-to-head in the Glam Masters Finale to take home the Grand Prize and be crowned the first ever Glam Master!  The finalists will create looks for beauty experts, runway ready makeup looks and they'll put it all on the line in the ultimate battle of the brushes to prove they have mastered their glam.

 

“PROJECT RUNWAY ALL STARS”

Sixteen talented designers will compete for a second chance at runway gold with the return of Lifetime’s hit series PROJECT RUNWAY ALL STARS. Eight All Stars veterans will go up against eight former Runway designers making it to the All Stars battle ground for the very first time. Alyssa Milano returns as host with judges Isaac Mizrahi and Georgina Chapman and Anne Fulenwider, Editor-in-Chief of Marie Claire joining as mentor.

Guest judges strutting down the runway this season to see who has the skills to make it to the end include Catherine Zeta-Jones, Whoopi Goldberg, Dita Von Teese, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Rebecca Minkoff, Danielle Brooks, Olivia Culpo, Rosie Perez, RuPaul, Kelly Osbourne, Karolina Kurkova, Kasey Musgraves, and Project Runway’s Nina Garcia and Zac Posen.

The winner of PROJECT RUNWAY ALL STARS Season six will receive a fashion spread in Marie Claire magazine and a position as contributing editor for a year, and a complete sewing studio from Brother Sewing and Embroidery. The winner also receives a once in a lifetime trip to London, England, and luxurious skincare and makeup from Rodial and accessories and styling services from Intermix, to enhance their next collection. To top it all off, the winner receives a $100,000 grand prize to elevate their business and build their brand.
