“DANCE MOMS”

With Abby Lee Miller's future uncertain, guest choreographers Cheryl Burke, Lauriann Gibson, Aisha Francis and Miranda Maleski step in to help lead the girls to victory. With the clock ticking, the moms are desperate to know what Abby’s plans are for the future, but Abby’s total denial creates havoc for the team. Instead of focusing on her own court case, Abby creates a group dance centered around Ashlee and Brynn’s family court battle, forcing Brynn to face emotionally charged subject matter through dance.

The team has over 15 national championships under their belt and with this year's nationals fast approaching, Todd will push the ladies to another victory, even if it kills him. “MARRIED AT FIRST SIGHT”

Married at First Sight is an extreme social experiment that follows singles yearning for a life-long partnership as they agree to a provocative proposal: getting legally married to a stranger the moment they first meet. A team of experts – sociologist Dr. Pepper Schwartz, communication and relationship expert, Rachel DeAlto, and marriage counselor, Pastor Calvin Roberson, create what they believe are three compatible couples based on scientific matchmaking. The couples will not meet until they walk down the aisle and see each other face-to-face, for the first time, at the altar.

Over the course of several weeks, episodes capture each couple’s journey as they go from wedding, to honeymoon, to early nesting, to the daily struggle of working on their marriage. After several weeks together, each couple must make a decision: do they remain together or decide to divorce?  Over 40,000 candidates nationwide have applied to be married at first sight. Season five will follow singles from the Chicago, Illinois area. Previous seasons followed couples from New York, Atlanta and Miami.

SEASON 5 REUNION SPECIAL

  • Airs Thursday, August 3, at 8:30PM-10:02PM (ET/PT)
  • Three couples were matched to marry as strangers at first sight. After going on a honeymoon, moving in together, and living as husband and wife for several weeks - they made a decision to either stay together or get a divorce. Now time has passed, and the experts travel back to Chicago to check in on how each has fared since the cameras left.

CELEBRATING THE JOURNEY

  • Airs Thursday, August 10, at 9:00PM-10:02PM (ET/PT)
  • When we last met with our couples who joined in matrimony and embarked on the journey of Married at First Sight, all three had made their final decisions whether to stay married or not. In this special, expert Calvin and his wife, Wendy, are in Chicago in order to celebrate their journeys with them. They gather for some goofy games, highlight reels and laughs as we take a celebratory look back at this season of Married at First Sight.
