A+E Networks Summer Internship Program is designed to provide students with exposure to the cable and entertainment industry by placing them in a diverse selection of assignments. The program also serves to provide A+E Networks with talented and qualified students who may choose to become candidates for permanent positions upon graduation.

Who should apply?
Junior, senior or graduate students who are currently enrolled at an accredited college/university and legally eligible to work in the U.S. may apply. Should an opportunity be extended to you, you will be required to submit verification of your legal right to work in the U.S. at the time of your arrival. Student must have a demonstrated interest in the industry and/or specific area of interest (i.e., marketing), as exemplified through past work experience, internships and/or major course of study and preferably a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
Do you accept recent graduates?
No. Recent graduates should visit the Careers section of our website to apply for full-time freelance or staff opportunities.
How do I apply?
Applications are accepted at the beginning of January through the end of March. Applicants chosen on the strength of their application will be asked to participate in a telephone/in-person interview with HR and the department hiring manager. Interviews will be held from January through the end of March, and all candidates interviewed will be notified of their status. Due to the volume of submissions we receive, we are unable to verify the individual status of each application received.
How long is the Summer Internship Program?
The summer internship program is a 10-week program that runs from the first week in June through the second week in August. Core hours are 9am – 5pm or as designated by the department.
What locations have opportunities available?
The majority of intern opportunities are in one of the two main offices in New York and Los Angeles. Internship opportunities in our Chicago, Detroit and Stamford offices may also be available.
Is this a paid internship?
Yes. Interns earn $10 an hour.
Is housing provided for interns coming from out of state?
Interns are responsible for securing their own housing. There are a number of websites available which students can access for housing opportunities. (i.e., studenthousing.org/and/intern)
